Precision Doors & Hardware, Inc. was established in 1985 to provide and install architectural doors and hardware to the commercial, industrial and governmental sectors of the Washington Metropolitan area.

Precision Doors & Hardware, Inc. was started by the present owners and has grown to over fifty employees. Our sales staff consists of twenty project managers, many of whom are certified by the Door & Hardware Institute. Our project managers participate in all the latest continuing education seminars relating to ADA, building & fire codes, electronic hardware, and security applications. Our support staff includes talented shop mechanics as well as installation crews and service/repair technicians. The locksmith department is staffed with certified and bonded locksmiths trained in all aspects of master-keying, security analysis, and lock repair.

Over the years we have developed a wide range of clientele from both the private and institutional arena, and have successfully completed all sizes and difficulty of projects. We can offer our services for specification writing and technical consultations to the architectural community . We have numerous contracts to provide ongoing service and repair for our valued customers.

We are proud to be repeat winners of the Washington Area Associated Builders & Contractors 'Subcontractor of the Year' award.

Our main facility is located in Alexandria, Virginia. In addition to our sales area and warehouse space, we have a wood door fabrication shop and a hollow metal modification department certified by Underwriters Laboratories, both of which are equipped with state of the art machinery.

In January of 2001 we opened our second facility in Leesburg, Virginia and our third facility in Fredericksburg, Virginia in November of the same year.

Spurred by our continued growth, we've expanded into Maryland, opening our Rockville location in the Spring of 2006 and our newest location in Baltimore in January of 2007.

In 2008 Precision Doors & Hardware was purchased by Stock Building Supply.
